The Panopticon

Panopticon is Jeremy Bentham’s conception of an “inspection house”, an all-seeing mechanism that could be used to make hospitals, schools, and other institutions more efficient and effective. For us, we have coöpted the word to mean the ability to monitor our own bodies so that we will always be directive in pursuing healthy and meaningful lives.
